Mini-Van & Private Tours Description: Starting from your hotel with pickup in the lobby, we will take you to the famous Orsay Museum for a guided visit. The Orsay lies on the left bank of the Seine, in the 7th arrondissement and is the same place that was once a train station. The museum was inaugurated in 1986 and is famous for its Impressionist collection. The history of this site is however a fascinating story in itself. All forms of art, ranging from painting, sculpture, architecture, objets d'art, furniture, cinema, photography, music, and opera decors are exhibited on 3 floors in order from 1848 to 1914. You can admire the works of Gustave Courbet, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cezanne, Manet, and Monet among others. At the end of the visit you can visit special exhibitions. You can stay and depart at your leisure, returning on your own to your hotel. 3 hours duration; 9:00 am on Wednesdays. Maximum 4 persons. Includes pickup and drop off at client hotel and entrance to the museum.
