You will meet Chef Pino at the school, where you will prepare, from scratch, 3 breakfast pastries such as croissants, pain au chocolat, and brioche. Also during the class you will learn how to make great pizza dough and real pie crust (pate sable, and a chocolate and hazelnut variation). You will use only seasonal ingredients and fresh products. Chef Pino will guide you through the recipes and show you some of the great tips he has learned along his 10 years of experience as Pastry chef in France, Italy, and the USA. All of the preparations can be eaten in-house accompanied with hot chocolate, tea, or coffee, or you can also choose to take them home. Please note you will be going through each of the preparation steps yourself; however, due to time constraints, some of the dough must sit overnight and will already be prepared. The location for the class is a private studio just 5 minutes from Sacre Coeur. The studio has a lounge area where you can sit and relax before class, have a drink of water, wine, or coffee. The space is functional, but comfortable and is meant to feel homey. The class is available Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
