Discover the old section of the Marais, where the French Kings settled from the 14th to the 17th C.  We'll meet at Place des Vosages, the first Royal Square in Paris, which was home to many famous and important people.  We'll visit the former home of Victore Hugo and of the Hotel de Sully before continuing to the old Jewish Quarter and its typical shops and restaurants. Then we'll head to Rue des Francs Bourgeois and stop at several remarkable noble mansions such as Hotel d'Albret, Hotel de Soubise, hotel Carnavalet. Our last stretch will take us to Rue des Archives where the oldest convent in Paris is, and end our tour at the majestic City Hall of Paris.

This is a private guided tour and can depart and day.  Maximum participation is 8 persons.  Private groups of 1 to 8 are possible.  Price is total for the group and includes the services of a professional, certified guide bilingual French/English.  The tour duration is 3 hours and does not include and entrance fees or transportation.  the guide will provide a historical narrative, site information, stories, and anecdotal information as the tour progresses.
