We'll meet at the Metro stop ANVERS (line 2) and head to the Sacre Coeur, the famous white basilica over looking Paris, for a guided visit. We will walk along the narrow streets of the hamlet, discover the last vineyards of Montmarte; stop at the famous cafe "Le Lapin agile" (where so many famous artists met at night); have a look at the last windmills of Paris: Moulin de la Galette and Moulin Blute Fin; walk to the Bateau Lavoir (where Picasso, Modigliani, Braque had their studios) and finish at the Place du Tertre where you will stroll along the street with picturesque cafes and admire the local painters' newest creations or have your portrait drawn!
This is a private guided tour and can depart any day. Maximum participation is 8 persons. Private groups of 1 to 8 are possible. Price is total for the group and includes the services of a professional, certified guide bilingual French/English. The tour duration is 3 hours and does not include any entrance fees or transportation. The guide will provide a historical narrative, site information, stories, and anecdotal information as the tour progresses.
