Starting at the spectacular Opera house of Paris, Opera Garnier, you will walk and learn about the history of the building with an outside visit.  We will then continue to "Cafe de la Paix" and to Place Vendome, one of the architectural jewels left by Louis XIV the "Sun King".  We will walk around the square (Ritz hotel, colonne Vendome...) and then reach Boulevard des Capucines to discover a very special building with its red iron facade, where the first Impressionist exhibition took place.  Have a quick look at the most beautiful "Restrooms" in Paris before arriving to Place de la Madeleine where you'll visit the Madeleine Church.  FInish your walking tour at Fauchon, Hediard, the most renowned Delicatessen shops in Paris.

This is a private guided tour and can depart any day.  Maximum participation is eight persons.  Private groups of one to eight are possible.  Price is total for the group and includes the services of a professional, certified guide bilingual French/English.  The tour duration is three hours and does not include any entrance fees or transportation.  The guide will provide a historical narrative, site information, stories and anecdotal information as the tour progresses.
