May issue and May Holidays! The beginning of the busier travel season gets roughed up a bit with a number of holidays this month. We have Labor Day on May 1, VE Day on May 8, Ascension on May 17, Pentecost on May 25, and Whit Monday on 28 May. It is likely that Mondays on and around these holidays will be vacation days for many as well. And that isn't just the French! Hotel space in Paris and around the popular spots in the South are well booked, so plan ahead!
