An Award Winning Adventure!
Our Provence Multisport Tour has been named one of the 25 Best Trips for 2009 by National Geographic Adventure! This award is not only a great honor; it speaks volumes about what travelers really want: self-guided tours and value for their money! We launched this tour in 2008 but wanted to perfect it, so we didn't aggressively promote it. We reduced the cost and now have what we think is an even better trip!
Included in the 2009 Provence Multisport Tour are:
Road Biking - hybrid cycling routes in the Provence countryside
Canoeing on the Gardon river at the Pont du Gard
Hiking around the Alpilles and Baux de Provence
Adventure Park activities including zip-lines in the Luberon
Mountain Biking in the Luberon area of Provence
Option: An afternoon of Via Ferrata. What's Via Ferrata? Check out the tour description to find out.
This tour is perfect for active people (4-6 hours per week). It takes a little bit of skill in several areas, but you don't have to be a hardcore athlete to enjoy it; the mountain biking isn't technical and the canoeing is mostly on flat water. It's the perfect trip for our fit, adventure-loving customers.
This recognition by NGA will appear again in upcoming press releases and company promotions in the coming year. The magazine hits newsstands this week. But if this tour isn't for you, it's only 1 of 25 trips. If you're curious, pick up a copy and check out all the great adventures out there!
