A perfect vacation for a family adventure? French Catalonia, that charming area just north of the Spanish border in southern Languedoc is an ideal escape into the countryside of France. Famous for beaches, excellent wine, among many other regional delights the charm of the local population is among them. Warm weather year-round makes this an ideal vacation spot! This tour is based at the seaside town of Argeles sur Mer. The town boasts 7 km of beaches and 3 km of inlets. Our hotel is a charming 3 star property labeled "Station Kid" and "Pavillon Bleu" for the high standards it meets for it services designed for parents/children and for environmental purity/cleanliness. This "a la carte" package gives families freedom and flexibility to choose their activities and gives parents a break from it all if they choose and still discover all that France and southern Languedoc have to offer! Day 1: Arrival in the hotel Plage des Pins in Argeles sur Mer. This seaside town is located south of Perpignan near the famous site of Collioure. A fantastic mountain backdrop of the Pyrenees dominates the landscape. You can arrive in Perpignan by plane or TGV from Paris. It is also easily accessed by train from Barcelona or Gerona in Spain.

The hotel offers rooms with pool/garden view or sea view are available. Sea view rooms have balcony. Family rooms with separated rooms for sleeping are also available. All rooms are air conditioned, have lock box, phone, and international cable TV.

The hotel offers swimming pool, tennis court, fitness room, private parking, restaurant, and beach with water sport activities. Beaches have lifeguards June-September only. Activities available include: sailing schools, windsurfing, diving, boat rental, sea kayak, waterskiing, and balneotherapy (spa).

Nearby activities/services: babysitting, children's beach club, fishing, golf, hiking, mountain biking, petanque, sailing, and more. We offer cycling itineraries that adults can choose from on a daily basis. You may choose to ride long or short courses, or to even skip a day of riding to do other things nearby.

Days 2-7: your choice of activities and riding itineraries; you can choose to spend these days as you wish.

Day 8: Departure after breakfast.
