Day 1 :   Departure from the Portes pass at the north of Sainte Victoire.

Distance 1 : 20 Miles - 32 Km 

You will bike very close to this famous Cezanne's mountain, on its eastern side where you will have the opportunity to contemplate the wonderful landscapes. You will be at the heart of the Côtes de Provence vineyards, enjoying all the local and typical scents and colors. Your journey will finish on the Cezanne road to Tholonet, on the southern face of the Sainte Victoire.

Day 2 :   Countryside of Aix en Provence

Distance 1 : 20 Miles - 32 Km 

Start by a short van transfer (15 min) to reach the countryside of Aix en Provence, your guide will drop you at Chateau de La Barben, famous for its garden and a quiet place to start and do the briefing. You will ride after that through beautifull, scenic, village like Aurons, Alleins where we will have the lunch and Vernègues.

A wine tasting is planned close to Lambesc on the way back to Pélissanne. This rolling itinerary of 30km gives you the opportunity to have very nice point of view of this vineyards area. After the wine tasting you will be transferred to Aix in few minutes.

Day 3 :   The magnificent Ochre hills of Roussillon

Distance 1 : 19 Miles - 30 Km 

Start from Gordes by bike and you will takes the direction of Goult by scenic road in the vineyards. You will reach Pont Juilien by a quiet bike path in the valley before reaching the magnificent Ochre hills of Roussillon.

The lunch is planned there. After a good Provençal meal you can walk a bit on the Sentier des Ochre and discover on your own this fantastic colors. The way back to Gordes is a bit steep, the van and your guide can give you a boost for the last section. Once uphill, a Olive oil tasting will await for you at "the Moulin".

Day 4 :   From Gordes to Fontaine de Vaucluse

Distance 1 : 24 Miles - 38 Km 

Start by bike from Gordes to Fontaine de Vaucluse by the “touristic route”. The Village has a beautiful « water atmosphere » with its large wooden wheels in the water, canal and fountains. Stop there for a café or a glass of rosé (depending the hour) and keep going to Isle sur la Sorgue where you will have the lunch. The second part of the itinerary is quite flat which allow you to discover the vineyards, abricot, cherry fields.

The way back to Gordes is a bit steep, the van and your guide can give you a boost for the last section. Once uphill, a Olive oil tasting will await for you at "the Moulin".

We have invested significant time and incorporated the feedback of our customers over many years (since 1997!) to make our road books even better. Please note that for custom itineraries you will not have cue sheets. Only maps and GPS routes.

GPS are included on all tours Since 2008. We change the units every 2 years and always invest in the best models. Simple to use, easy to read, yet sophisticated devices they are available on all of our tours. The routes described in your roadbook are stored as tracks in the GPS unit. You simply have to follow the line shown on the GPS, and enjoy. 1 GPS for every 1-3 people
