Arrival in Les Eyzies

Your travel documents, tourist information will be already deliver to your place of departure. You could pick them up and one of our guides will contact you. As an expert of the region, you could ask him all the questions you have about your trip.

From Les Eyzies LOOP to St Cirq

It's the first day of hiking, you will leave for a loop around Les Eyzies. You will discover the prehistoric surroundings through the forests of Périgord. You will walk along the Vézère River where you can have a picnic. Then you return to your hotel in Les Eyzies.

Distance: 12 Km (7.5mi)

Elevation: 200 m

Included : bedroom and breakfast

From Les Eyzies LOOP around Le Bugue or Limeuil

After a transfer, you will start your hike with two possible choices, short and long, either from Le Bugue or from Limeuil. You will cross the villages of Périgord Noir, while following the Vézère River.

Then you return to Les Eyzies at the end of your hike.

Distance: 13 Km (8 mi)

Elevation: 190 m

Distance: 23 Km (14 mi)

Elevation: 440 m

Notes: Transfer to the start of your walk in Limeuil or Le Bugue Please inform the driver.

From Les Eyzies to Montignac

You will leave Les Eyzies by taxi, where you will have two choices for hiking: A short one from Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère or a long one from Peyzac-le-Moustier. You will follow a path along the site of Roque Saint Christophe, a prehistoric troglodytic village before arriving at Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, where you will have the possibility to stop for lunch. Finally, you will take a path through forests and typical hamlets that will lead you to your destination, Montignac.

Distance: 14 Km (8 mi)

Elevation : 300 m

Distance: 20 Km (12 mi)

Elevation: 510 m

Note: Transfer to the start of your walk in Peyzac or St Léon Please inform the driver.

From Montignac LOOP around Lascaux

From Montignac, you will go for a short hike around the village, to discover the prehistoric caves of Lascaux. You also have the possibility to visit Lascaux IV (not included). Then you return to your hotel in Montignac.

Elevation: 150 m

Departure from Montignac to Sarlat

It is the day of departure, after breakfast, you will be transferred to Sarlat-la-Canéda.

ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES

-Arrival: You will arrive by your own means at Les Eyzies de Tayac, in the heart of the Périgord Noir. You will settle into your hotel where you will receive your travel documents as well as an orientation by phone.

-Departure: From Montignac. It is the day of departure, after your breakfast, you will be transferred to Sarlat-la-Canéda.
