Highlights

The Portugal Wild Coast is an incredible Hybrid Cycling route program along the most beautiful and unspoiled coast-line of Portugal. Starting in Grandola, this is an incredible tour that will take you till the south-westernmost point in continental Europe, crossing a National Park and a beautiful coastal line with 300km of beautiful beaches, and typical villages. This tour is 70% on roads and 30% off road.

Arrival in Lisbon. You will meet your guide at Lisbon airport or at your hotel in Lisbon. Then, he will drive you to your hotel in Santiago de Cacem and give you your tour orientation.

Santiago do Cacém - Sonega - Alentejo & Vicentine Coast Natural Park - Porto Covo - Vila Nova de Milfontes

Leave Santiago by a road on the sierra and croos a beautiful hilly region with an impressive cork forest. Pass the calm village of Sonega and enter on the SW Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. You will get to Porto Covo, a quiet fishing village with its typical whitewashed houses with their blue stripe, common in Alentejo. Follow the coast up to a nice castle on the cliffs with excellent view to an island ! Then you continue south till you get to Milfontes.

Arrifana - Carrapateira - Pedralva

Ride through some forests and get again close to sea by incredible village of Carrapateira, following a dirt road along the sea that shows this region at its most beautiful. Pass by stunning beaches, with incredible colourful cliffs. Go up on a dirt road under through a beautiful round pine forest and arrive to a typical and old village once abandoned and now recovered as a hotel.

Cycle again close to sea and go by an amazing dirt road over the cliffs and crossing beautiful beaches. Some steep uphill to get out of the beaches ! Then ride south along Algarve wild coast till Cape S. Vicente - the south-western-most point of Continental Europe. Lodging at Sagres.
