Day 1 :   Arrive in Amboise

Arrive in the picturesque town of Amboise situated along the Loire River and check in at the hotel- Chateau Le Choiseul where you will feel like royalty. Settle in and explore the village and sites. Amboise is bustling with much to see and do. Visit the Chateau Clos Lucé (last home of Leonardo DaVinci). Share in the artist’s genie while testing some of DaVinci’s most interesting inventions. Wander the streets and shops of Amboise hand in hand. Orientation and bike setting with a Discover France guide in the evening.

Day 2 :   Loop Ride to Chenonceau

Love makes the “wheels” go round. Today is a perfect way to start cycling together with a loop tour to the remarkable Chateau of Chenonceau. Along the way you will cycle some quiet country roads that drop into the hamlet and the elegant castle perched over the Cher River.

This famous castle is the stage of Henri II and Catherine de Medicis and Diane de Poitier’s love stories. Return for another romantic evening in the same hotel-Chateau.

Day 3 :   Amboise to Wine Country

Spin along the reserved routes for bicycles or pedestrians you two will wander through vineyards of Montlouis. This is an occasion to toast your new life together with Montlouis’ original bubbly or a glass of white wine. Your day’s journey ends at the deluxe hotel and spa Chateau d’Artigny.

Day 4 :   Ride to Azay le Rideau to Luynes

You start with a nice ride through rolling countryside referred to as the Garden of France, to the castle of Azay le Rideau (with an option to flirt with your beloved in the labyrinth gardens of the Chateau of Villandry along the way). Your duo will then ride alongside the Loire River, cross the majestic bridge to the Chateau de Langeais. Inspiring for a HONEY_MOONers, this is where history was made when Charles VIII married Anne de Bretagne! Your ride continues through the countryside and along troglodyte homes to Luynes. Tonight’s romance continues at the Domaine de Beauvois.

Day 5 :   Ride to Saumur

Your day begins with a car transfer to the medieval site and castle of Chinon. This is the land where Joan of Arc fulfilled her saga to save France from English domination. But you will continue with a more romantic story. From Chinon, you will have a leisure ride towards the famous and historic Abbaye of Fontevraud. This monastery, built in 1110, was the burial grounds of King Henry II, his wife Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine, and their son King Richard the Lionheart. Today it is Europe’s largest functioning abbey. You will be awed by the size and beauty of the place. Serine calm embraces you and your loved one.

Your hotel is nearby and a gastronomic dinner and breakfast is included.

Day 6 :   Loop Ride

Distance 1 : 28 Miles - 45 Km 
Elevation gain 1 : 385 Meters 

The never-ending tale of imposing castles and great wines continue. Visit together the Chateau de Saumur towering above the town. And another jaunt as a couple in the vineyards to the Montreuil Bellay chateau. Return for your last romantic evening on the tour.

Day : 1, 2

Located at the edge of the Loire and at the foot of the Royal Castle of Amboise, homeland of Leonardo da Vinci, the hotel Le Choiseul is a charming house typically from Tours built in 18th century. The hotel enjoys an exceptional location in the heart of the Valley of Loire castles. Le Choiseul has 30 rooms of 5 different categories, from the most elegant apartment to the most delightful room. They offer pleasant views over the Italian garden, the Loire and the Château d'Amboise.

Day : 3

A magnificent 18th century style edifice built by the famous perfume creator, Francois Coty. Its shining white stone is set off perfectly by the green of the 50 acre park surrounding it. A great location for visiting the sites of the Loire region. Located about 16 km from Tours.

Day : 4

This 16th and 17th century manor house, surrounded by 350 acres of wooded parkland, stands on the western outskirts of Tours, overlooking the Briffaut lake. Since its transformation in 1967, the Domaine has been constantly embellished and enlarged, but its style has been maintained. It is an oasis of peace which stars of the arts and show business, such as Robert de Niro, Jessye Norman and Grace Kelly or the leading racing drivers in the Le Mans 24 hour race found attractive.

Day : 5, 6

Peacefully set in a four acre park, right in the midst of Saumur, Verrieres allows you to discover the charm and History of the Loire Valley. Verrieres has nevertheless kept its private mansion atmosphere, with its authentic decoration and its period furniture.
