Day 1 :   Arrival in Aumont Aubrac

Take the opportunity to visit this beautiful village and to take the time to visit the important places of Aumont Aubrac.

Day 2 :   Aumont Aubrac LOOP to Chateau de la Baume

Option 1 : 20 Miles - 32 Km  Option 2 : 34 Miles - 55 Km 
Elevation gain 1 : 521 Meters  Elevation gain 2 : 755 Meters 

From Aumont Aubrac you will have the choice between two itineraries today, the first one of 32 km will make you discover the castle of the Baume. If you wish to extend the day you will have the possibility of making a 52 km tour during which you will be able to discover the view on the Déroc waterfall. 30 meters high, it is located in an exceptional setting, you will be delighted by this detour.

Day 3 :   Aumont Aubrac LOOP to Javols

Option 1 : 17 Miles - 28 Km  Option 2 : 28 Miles - 45 Km

New day of cycling in Aubrac, from Aumont Aubrac you will head towards Javols. Discover this ancient Gallo-Roman village and take the opportunity to visit the archaeological garden. Two options are offered to you, the first one of 27 km will make you discover Javols and small roads in the heart of Aubrac while the second option for the most motivated will take you to the lake of Ganivet remarkable by the small wooded island located in its center.

Day 4 :   Aumont Aubrac LOOP to Moulinet

Option 1 : 17 Miles - 27 Km  Option 2 : 26 Miles - 42 Km 
Elevation gain 1 : 387 Meters  Elevation gain 2 : 685 Meters 

For this last day, you will head south towards the lake of Moulinet, a lake located in the middle of the forest, a small and relaxing natural setting. 2 options are available to you, either you go straight back, or you can continue your way to the Parc aux Loups, enjoy a visit of this magnificent park where the wolf is a mystical animal in the region with the famous Beast of Gévaudan. Then go back up to the North, a short round trip to the Roc de Peyre, an impressive volcanic peak that dominates the gorges carved by the river Crueize.

Day 5 :   Departure Day from Aumont

Today is departure day, you can take your time getting started in the morning, have breakfast and depart at your leisure. Other cycling itineraries are possible if you wish to extend this type of tour a little longer.
