Arrival in Girona. We meet you at Girona Airport (you will find someone with a sign with your name on it waiting in the arrivals area after you exit through the arrivals gate) or at the Girona train station (you will find someone with a sign with your name on it waiting at the exit of the train station - there is only one exit). Then we take you to the mountain town of Olot where you will have a personalized orientation.

From Olot to Girona

From Olot (at 440m above sea level) the Carrilet Greenway is markedly downhill to Girona (at 70m) so you will reach Girona through the green countryside with very little effort!

This route crosses through magnificent scenery of cultural value. It begins in the Garrotxa volcanic area and reaches the Ter valley and then on to the pastures of Salt and Girona. Tonight, you will stay in Girona and discover the old town called the Jewish Quarter next to the magnificent Gothic Cathedral. Do not forget to try some tapas in the numerous bars and restaurants in Girona!

Following the cycle path, a converted railway line called 'El Carrilet', this ride brings you to the Mediterranean Coast. You will arrive in Sant Feliu with its wonderful seaport and old monastery.

Sant Feliu de Guixols - Girona

After breakfast we will transfer you back to Girona train station at 9:30 am. According to your program, we can arrange accommodations and transportation.

-The nearest airports are Girona-Costa Brava airport situated approx. 12km south of Girona. From there take a taxi or a bus to your hotel.
-Or Barcelona Airport "El Prat" situated approx. 110 km from Girona. This is the main regional national and international airport. From there you can take the metro to the Barcelona-Sants station (every 30 minutes) and connect with rail services to Girona.
-Or you can take a bus to Girona (Barcelona-Bus).

-Departure from sant Feliu, we will transfer you back to Girona train station at 9:30am.
