Day 1 :   Arrive in Cap Corse

You will be greeted at the airport or port of Bastia and transferred directly to your hotel on the Cap Corse in Sisco, the northern peninsula of Corsica. Nature has created a remarkable site. After an orientation meeting with a guide, you can take advantage of the beautiful local seashores, known for its snorkeling, or already stretch your legs with a short ride to admire the remarkable architecture of neighboring old stone villages.

Day 2 :   Sisco to Centuri

Option 1 : 25 Miles - 41 Km  Option 2 : 35 Miles - 56 Km 
Elevation gain 1 : 560 Meters  Elevation gain 2 : 860 Meters 

This morning you will bike north along the coastline. Along the way you will come across some interesting sentries known as « Tours Génoises », towers dating to the 1500s that protected Corsica from foreign invasion. Ride through the vineyards of Luri to join the fishing port of Maccianggio. Then take a nice climb to reach Moulin Mattei, the highest point of Cap Corse and much appreciated for its panorama. After the climb, enjoy the reward: a long downhill leading directly to the port of Centuri. Your hotel is situated in the heart of the marina. It’s the best place to observe a beautiful sunset while dining on famous lobster, caught locally.

Day 3 :   Centuri to Saint Florent

Leave Centuri on a coastal road above the rugged cliffs that offer an astonishing view of discrete bays and their turquoise waters. Continue to Nonza and its surprising beach of black pebbles. Take a pause in this picturesque village. You will then reach Patrimonio Patrimonio, known for its wine and delicious restaurants. Wine tasting is available among many local wine producers. Night in Saint Florent.

Day 4 :   Rest day or loop ride around St Florent

Option 1 : 19 Miles - 30 Km  Option 2 : 30 Miles - 49 Km

You will have the choice today with 3 options from 30km to 50km. Those itineraries will take you on the quiet wine route and through several lovely villages. On the shortest version goes, you will have the opportunity to see the Padule lake and on the longest you will be able to visit st michele de murato. In Saint Florent, don’t miss seeing the citadel or amber along the port and small village boutiques. A boat transfer is available to reach the pearly white beaches of Saleccia.

Day 5 :   Cross the Desert of Agriates to Ile Rousse

Option 1 : 30 Miles - 48 Km  Option 2 : 48 Miles - 77 Km  Option 3 : 53 Miles - 85 Km

Today’s ride brings you to the heart of protected natural landscapes: The Sea, Corsica scrubland, winding roads through a wild paradise. Your ride will bring you to Col de Vezzu with superb panoramas of the sea on one side, and the majestic mountains on the other. A nice downhill brings you to Balagne with several options to arrive at Ile Rousse. Ile Rousse takes its name from the red colorings that paint the cliffs with each sunset. Be sure to admire the spectacle.

Day 6 :   La Balagne, its villages and beaches. Arrive in Calvi

You leave Ile Rousse on some inland routes that cross some of the most beautiful villages of Corsica (Sant Antonino and Pigna among others) What a great opportunity to try some of the best restaurants in the regions or some local produce? We can give you our recommendations. The « route des artisans » or craftsmen road follows this balcony coastal road before descending to Calvi, a beautiful coastal destination.

Day 7 :   Departure day from Calvi

Enjoy a nice breakfast and leave when you are ready.

Day : 1

Caroline and her husband Dominique (the third generation of the Tozza family) welcome you in their little and charming hotel in Sisco. Surrounding by nature, in the heart of Cap Corse, the hotel is ideally located to discover the wild and picturesque landscapes of the region. sea or mountain, you can easily reach both of them from the hotel and enjoy all the activities they offer. After a long day of travelling and walking you can taste one of their delicious pizza in the familial restaurant, about 50 meters from the hotel.


Day : 2

Located in front of the sea, this hotel is a peaceful place for you to get relax by the end of the day. From the terrace, you can enjoy the beautiful view on the old marina and its blue and white fishing boats. You can easily and quickly reach the city center of Centuri, a village well known in the Cap Corse for its lobster fishing tradition. In a simple and relaxing environment, the Srinna family will reserve you a warm welcome and the hotel offers comfortable rooms with a nice view on the marina and its old stone houses or on the mountain.


Day : 3, 4

In the very heart of Saint Florent, the hotel Maxime is ideally located in the city center, close to shopping streets, the marina and few minutes walk from Santa-Maria cathedral and the Citadel. The beaches are about 300 meters and some buses are leaving for the amazing beaches of Lodu and Saleccia.


Day : 5

L'Ile-Rousse is a highly touristic destination on the water front of Balagne. Its on these islands, where the sunset ignites over the seas, that the hotel restaurant La Pietra nests. This property is 3 minutes walk from the beach. La Pietra enjoys a unique location on rocky L’Ile Rousse in northern Corsica. Its restaurant offers panoramic ocean views of the port and coastline. The hotel offers a hot tub, sauna, fitness room and air-conditioned guest rooms. A flat-screen TV and bathroom with a hairdryer are provided in each room. Guests can enjoy the views of the sea or Génoise Tower from the sun loungers on their own balcony. Breakfast can be delivered directly to guests’ rooms or selected from the buffet. Located on the seaside, only 30 meters from the huge sandy beach which is sheltered by the Calvi bay, the hotel is also close from the city center and the marina (about 500 meters).

With its little and cozy restaurant, this hotel is perfectly located in the city center to discover Centuri and then, to rest after a long day of biking.


Day : 3, 4

Tettola Hotel is a 3-star hotel with a swimming pool and a direct access to a beautiful sandy beach. Sat on the panoramic terrace, take a breath and admire the astonishing view on Saint-Florent Golf and Cap Corse, especially amazing during sunset time. In few minutes hiking or after a little walk (about 15 min) you can reach the city center of Saint Florent and enjoy all the activities offered.

The Revellata hotel is about 450 meters from Calvi harbour and you can go to the city center in few minutes and so discover the city and all its curiosities. Informations & Recommendations

Arrival: Bastia Airport

The best way to get in Bastia is by plane to Bastia Airport or by one of the numerous ferries which deserve Bastia’s harbour: from Marseille, Nice and Toulon (France) and from Genoa and Vado Ligure (Liguria, Italy) and from Livorno and Portoferraio (Tuscany, Italy).

Departure: Calvi Airport

The only way to reach Calvi airport from the city center or your hotel is by taxi, there is no bus or train to go there. If you prefer so, you can leave Corsica by ferry from Calvi to Nice or Vado Ligure. You can go back to Basta by train but there are only 2 trains a day.
