VIP Cycling Tour - Alps & Nice Adventure - TOUR DE FRANCE

The departure of our epic journey through the Alps and the final week of the Tour de France 2024 is scheduled for early afternoon at Marseille airport or train station. This is where we'll welcome the team before embarking on a 3-hour transfer to our base in Risoul. Nestling in the heart of the Southern Alps, Risoul will become our HQ, the strategic starting point for tackling the region's legendary passes. After a quick strategy meeting and bike fitting, you're free to explore the village on foot or mount up for epic rides straight from the hotel. In the evening, we meet at the hotel restaurant for a convivial dinner, ready to toast the launch of this intense alpine adventure. It will be a week of pure cycling!

Below is the profile of your Tour de France Trip

Your first day of cycling begins with a 100 km (62 mi) loop through superbs Alpine sceneries. You'll start with the famous Col d'Izoard (2360m - 7746 feet), then descend to the medieval city of Vauban, famous architect of King Louis XIV. Take a break in this charming fortified town in the heart of the Alps. You'll set off again and ride through the Durance valley, finishing in style with a climb up to Risoul to reach your hotel. Finally, watch the finish of the Tour de France in Nimes on television. The evening is free for you to discover the little resort of Risoul.

Today, you'll join the Tour de France and spend a day behind the scenes of this great event and you will feel like a pro rider. You'll leave the valley to ride the last 30 km of the day's stage to Superdevoluy over 3 Cols: Festre, Rioupes, St Etienne. You'll be riding along the Tour route, with the sepctators already there to cheer you on, as you climb up to the Superdevoluy resort. You'll cross the finish line and climb onto the official podium a few hours before the pro riders. Don't forget to immortalize this unforgettable moment with some great photos. You'll then be taken to the VIP access right next to the finish line, the Bus Izoard, where you can experience the riders' arrival live. Return to your hotel in Risoul at the end of the day, where we'll have dinner together.

PODIUM-DAY - CROSS THE FINISH LINE

Live your passion !

After a filling breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the final thirty kilometers of the Tour’s course. You will ride the last kilometers and ride a dream - cross the finish line of the Tour de France moments before the pros.

Like the pros, the roads are closed for the occasion and you will be escorted by an official vehicle. You will be cheered along by hundreds of Tour de France fans. Don’t forget your camera.

Then cheer the pros from the backstage of the world’s largest cycling event.

IZOARD FINISH LINE AREA ACCESS

From this area you have an exceptional view over the end of the stage and all the comforts needed to wait for the pro to come : drinks and hors d'oeuvre are at your disposal. Our team will be at your entire disposal, taking care that you have everything you need. With live broadcasting of the race on plasma screens, you can follow the step and the stage arrival with a glass of champagne in your hand !

A new day on the roads of the Tour de France awaits you, as you explore the route between Gap and Barcelonnette. After about 50km (31mi), you'll arrive at the VIP area known as Relais-Etape, located in the middle of the day's stage. You'll be served lunch and can follow the Tour riders on the big screen. You'll watch the Tour's peloton pass by live. You'll then return to your hotel with your head full of memories. Enjoy your evening with the group and discuss the predictions for the Tour de France 2024 finale.

ACCESS RELAS ETAPE

Having the best places in the stadium isn’t that what everybody wants? Now you can have the best places along the course. This whole experience gives you a great view on the race and more. You’ll start off with a aperitif at the bar and a seated lunch.

After the lunch it will be time to watch the caravan pass by and then of course the peloton. During the whole stage you will enjoy the coverage by a former pro rider. To end the day you will receive a nice Tour de France gift.

Another exceptional day ahead as you will conquer the famous Col de la Bonnette before the Tour de France riders pass through. You will start from your hotel in Risoul, then descend into the valley and reach the foot of the Col de Vars (2108m - 6916 feet). You will descend and then climb back up to the Col de la Bonnette (2715m - 8907 feet). This is a great ride, with 2760m (9055 feet) of ascent. Once at the top of the pass, you'll wait for the riders to bike over the pass and watch the leaders of the general classification battle out for the yellow jersey. You'll then be transferred to Grasse for the second part of your stay on the French Riviera.

For your last day of cycling, we're offering a long loop to discover the hinterland of Nice, with its views of the Mediterranean Sea, and its small, pleasant roads. You'll climb to the Col de Vence (963m - 3159 feet) and then descend to the effervence of the French Riviera. Finally, you'll return to Grasse, a village famous for its perfumes. Take advantage of the evening to explore Grasse and its narrow streets. And don't forget to watch the finish of today's stage on the Col de la Couillole, which will be decisive before the individual time trial the next day.

This is the last day of the Tour de France for you and the pro riders. Today, you'll be immersed in a historical finish of the Tour de France in Nice. You'll be in the VIP stands right next to the finish line. This final stage is an individual time trial and will determine the final result. You'll see the riders go one by one in their aerodynamic positions. You'll have a front-row seat for the Tour de France 2024 podium. After the protocol, you will live the most unique moments of this Tour, and you may be lucky enough to cross paths with the riders. This is a final evening to share the unforgettable moments of the week with the group.

APOLLON GRANDSTAND IN NICE

The Massena/Appolon Tribune is strategically located just a few meters from the finish line. So you can enjoy the peloton passing along the "Promenade des Anglais" before witnessing the finish and all the official ceremonies.

It's departure day, so make the most of the last few moments with the group and return home with your head full of memories. Your guides will transfer you to Nice in the morning.
