On this VIP TDF guided tour, you'll be totally immersed in a mountain atmosphere. From Loudenvielle in the central Pyrenees to Couiza in the eastern Pyrenees, this program is ideal for discovering this Region in all their richness and beauty. You'll climb the most famous passes in this massif: Tourmalet, Aspin, Peyresourde, Port de Bales, Menté, Portet d'Aspet and the famous Col de Pailheres. Arrival in Toulouse and transfer to the Pyrenees


Our adventure of the Pyrenees and the Tour de France 2024 route starts at Toulouse airport or train station in the early afternoon. At this meeting point, we'll welcome the group before a 2-hour transfer to our hotel in Loudenvielle. Nestling in the heart of the Pyrenees, Loudenvielle reveals its charm as a picturesque village, offering the ideal starting point for discovering the region's legendary passes. After a brief orientation and bike fitting, take the time to explore the village on foot or venture out by bike along some superb routes starting directly from the hotel. That evening, we'll gather for a convivial dinner at the hotel restaurant, where we'll toast the beginning of this exceptional adventure.

Loudenvielle loop Peyresourde, Bales


On your first day in the Pyrenees, you'll set off on a beautiful cycling loop via the Col de Peyresourde (1569m - 5147 feet), Bagnères de Luchon and Port de Balès (1755m - 5758 feet). You'll start off at Peyresourde for a 10 km (6,2mi) climb, admiring the wild Pyrenean landscapes. You'll then descend to Bagnères de Luchon, a small spa village typical of the Pyrenees, and pass through the valley to reach the 18km-long (11mi) Port de Balès. Finally, you climb the Col de Peyresourde on the other side to reach Loudenvielle. Return to the hotel to watch on TV the finish of today's stage in Villeneuve sur Lot, which will surely come down to a sprint. Take advantage of your evening to discover the restaurants of Loudenvielle and spend a lovely evening with your friends.

Loudenvielle loop Aspin & Tourmalet


After a good breakfast, a great day's cycling awaits you today with the ascent of two mythical cols: Col d'Aspin (1489m - 4885 feet) and Col du Tourmalet (2115m - 6939 feet). You'll set off directly from the hotel to climb the first small pass: Col d'Azet (1580m - 5184 feet), then roll into the Aure valley to reach the foot of Col d'Aspin. This little road winding through the Pyrenean pastures is quite simply splendid. The views are breathtaking, and you're sure pass by farm animals roaming freely along the road. You'll then switch to Sainte Marie de Campan, and head straight up the Col du Tourmalet, so famous and dreaded by all Tour de France racers. This year, the Tourmalet will be climbed from the other side the following day by the Tour de France peloton. Back to the hotel by van to enjoy the late afternoon and watch the day's stage in Pau on TV.

Podium day in Pla d'Adet & VIP Access Izoard finish line


On this exceptional day, you'll have the unique opportunity to live an experience worthy of a Tour de France rider. What could be more exciting than crossing the finish line and standing on the podium a few hours before the professionals? That's exactly what you'll experience on this unforgettable day! Start by tackling the last 40 km (25mi) of the day's stage by climbing up to Pla d'Adet, a picturesque ski resort in the Pyrenees. Once at the top, you'll cross the finish line and stand proudly on the TDF podium to capture this memorable moment. Then head to the VIP finish area at the foot of the climb, where you can watch the professional peloton arrive in VIP style, with a glass of champagne in hand. An extraordinary day for all cycling fans, not to be missed!

PODIUM-DAY - CROSS THE FINISH LINE

Live your passion !

After a filling breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the final thirty kilometers of the Tour’s course. You will ride the last kilometers and ride a dream - cross the finish line of the Tour de France moments before the pros.

Like the pros, the roads are closed for the occasion and you will be escorted by an official vehicle. You will be cheered along by hundreds of Tour de France fans. Don’t forget your camera.

Then cheer the pros from the backstage of the world’s largest cycling event.

IZOARD FINISH LINE AREA ACCESS

From this area you have an exceptional view over the end of the stage and all the comforts needed to wait for the pro to come : drinks and hors d'oeuvre are at your disposal. Our team will be at your entire disposal, taking care that you have everything you need. With live broadcasting of the race on plasma screens, you can follow the step and the stage arrival with a glass of champagne in your hand !

Col de Menté, Portet d'Aspet & Relais-Etape VIP access


Like the Tour de France riders, you'll be heading for the Ariege Pyrenees, a part of France less known to the general public, but with many advantages for cyclists: wild life, small roads, exceptional views. A van transfer will be organized in the morning to St Béat, before taking the Tour de France route a little before the peloton to St Girons. You'll climb the magnificent Col de Menté (1349m - 4426 feet) and Portet d'Aspet (1069m - 3507 feet), enjoying the atmosphere and the magnificent scenery all the way up. Descend to Saint Girons and enjoy exclusive VIP access to the Relais Etape. This VIP area, located in the middle of the day's stage, allows you to follow the race on the big screen, have a wonderful lunch with the whole group and enjoy the festive atmosphere. After the riders have passed through, you'll return to your next hotel in Couiza, a typical village in south-west France.

ACCESS RELAS ETAPE

Having the best places in the stadium isn’t that what everybody wants? Now you can have the best places along the course. This whole experience gives you a great view on the race and more. You’ll start off with a aperitif at the bar and a seated lunch.

After the lunch it will be time to watch the caravan pass by and then of course the peloton. During the whole stage you will enjoy the coverage by a former pro rider. To end the day you will receive a nice Tour de France gift.

Couiza loop Col de Pailheres


For your last day of cycling, a beautiful loop awaits you on the small and wild roads of the Eastern Pyrenees. You'll ride through the magnificent Gorges du Rebenty to reach the first pass of the day: Col du Pradel (1673m - 5488 feet), followed by the ascent of Col de Pailheres (2001m - 6565 feet) with its winding bends and breathtaking views. The last part of the day is mainly downhill, as you follow the superb Gorges de l'Aude. This small road between two cliffs is magnificent, so take advantage of this moment of happiness. Once back at the hotel, it's time to enjoy your last evening with our guides and the group, to discuss anecdotes from the trip and have a nice moment together.
