Explore the Baltic coast and the National Parks of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia on very scenic routes. The tour includes the three capital cities – Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn – with their Old towns designated as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO; the Curonian Spit which was previously closed to visitors; nowadays it is often called the Lithuanian Sahara; the beautiful Gauja River valleys and the largest and most beautiful Estonian island of Saaremaa. Travel from Lithuania in the south, through Latvia and on to Estonia in the north; experience a wide variety of towns, villages and countryside for an excellent introduction to the very distinct characters of these quite different countries.

Day 1 : Arrive in Vilnius (Lithuania)
Arrival in Vilnius. You will meet your guide at your hotel. Our local guide will meet you at your hotel. He will explain how the tour works with the Road Book, GPS, hotel vouchers, emergency assistance, and answer any questions that you may have. He will also fit you to your bike so that you can ride comfortably and efficiently.

Day 2 : Vilnius - Kaunas

After breakfast, you will have a guided tour of Vilnius' Old Town. In the afternoon, take a trip to Trakai, the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. After that,visit a 14th century island castle built on a small island in Lake Galvė. Start your first bike ride through picturesque countryside on gentle hills, then transfer by coach to Kaunas, your destination for the night.

Day 3 : Kaunas - Klaipeda

Morning transfer along the Nemunas River to the coast. En route passing 17thC castle of Panemunė. In the afternoon, after picnic lunch (included), cycling to Ventė Horn famous for its bird observatory and the 19thC lighthouse which was used for more than 100 years. After a short bus transfer arrive in Klaipeda, the main seaport of Lithuania, check-in at the hotel and optional dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 : Klaipeda - Nida - Klaipeda

Take a morning ferry to the Curonian Spit and transfer by coach to Nida. En-route enjoying the beautiful view of the Curonian Spit sand dunes which separate the Baltic Sea from the Curonian Lagoon. Sightseeing around Nida, one of the most beautiful resorts in Lithuania. In the afternoon cycling back to Klaipėda on the Seaside Cycle Route along the Curonian Spit famous for its amber and fine sand beaches. Overnight and optional dinner at the hotel in Klaipėda

Day 5 : Day 5: Klaipeda - Riga

Early morning ride to Palanga through the Seaside Regional Park, a former soviet military training area. Arrive in Palanga, the biggest Lithuanian seaside resort for a tour which includes a visit to the Botanical Garden and the Amber Museum in the Palace of Count Tyszkiewicz, with over 25000 pieces of amber and 15000 insects on display. Afternoon transfer to Riga (Latvia). En-route stop at the Hill of Crosses, the unforgettable sight of thousands of crosses on two small hills. Continue to Riga, the capital city of Latvia. Arrive in Riga, check-in and dinner at the hotel.

Day 6 : Day 6: Riga - Jurmala - Riga

After breakfast a guided tour of Riga Old Town, a medieval Hanseatic town famous for its Art Nouveau buildings. In the afternoon free time in Riga or cycling to Jurmala, the largest resort in the Baltic States well known for its long, white, sand beaches, mineral waters and mud with healing properties. Transfer back by coach to the hotel in Riga. Optional dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 : Day 7: Jurmala - Riga - Saulkrasti - Riga
Distance 1 : 25 Miles - 40 Km
Elevation gain 1 : 392 Meters
Morning transfer to Sigulda, the most popular resort in Latvia, in the Gauja River Valley. Cycling through Gauja National Park to Saulkrasti, en route enjoy spectacular views of Gauja River valley with Gutmana Cave, visit Turaida Castle and the oldest Latvian Church, Krimulda, built in 1205. Finish the ride with a visit to the Latvian bicycle museum followed by a transfer to Riga. Optional dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Riga.

Day 8 : Day 8: Riga - Mandjala

Morning transfer to the largest Estonian island of Saaremaa which has preserved all that is best about old Estonia. With little traffic and flat roads Saaremaa provides the perfect rural setting for cycling. Travel on picturesque roads along the Baltic Sea Coast to the willage of Angla where the iconic windmills are located. Transfer to Mandjala, check into hotel for 2 stays at the seaside. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 9 : Mandjala - Sorve Peninsula - Mandjala

Enjoy a day ride across Saaremaa Island's wild beauty - Sorve Peninsula, with a finish at the Sorve lighthouse. Historically, the peninsula had considerable military significance, dominating the Irbe Strait and the Baltic Sea route to Riga. Transfer back to the hotel. Optional dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Mandjala.

Day 10 : Mandjala - Tallinn

Take a short morning ride to Kuressaare, the capital of Saaremaa, a home to one of the finest preserved medieval Episcopal Castles in the Baltics, dating from 13thC. Free time to explore the town and the Bishop's castle. Then transfer by coach to Tallinn. En route stop at the Kaali meteorite crater which is listed on the world's giant craters list and it is the rarest nature wonder in Estonia. In the afternoon arrive in Tallinn, check-in at the hotel followed by a guided tour of Tallinn Old Town. Farewell dinner in local restaurant.

Today is departure day, you can take your time getting started in the morning, have breakfast and depart at your leisure from Tallinn. According to your program, we can arrange accommodations and transportation.

Day : 2

A four-star Europa Royale Kaunas hotel is located in the centre of the city. The very famous Laisvės Avenue is nearby the hotel and it is very popular among the Lithuanians and the city guests. Hotel has the ideal location for guests coming for shopping at Akropolis or attending a concert, show or other events at Zalgirio arena. The pride of our hotel is the famous statue created by A. Aleksandravičius „Šviesos nešėja“ (“Light carrier”) which greets every guest in our inner yard. One of the finest four star Kaunas Hotels is situated in an old printing house. Built in the early 20th century. The building was renovated and the hotel was opened in September, 2009. The building has modern design but authentic walls were preserved during the reconstruction.

The hotel „Old Mill Hotel“ is one of the most spectacular buildings of the Klaipeda Port. In the XVIII c. this building was called the „Rice Mill“ because there was the first and the biggest rice mill in Lithuania. In 2008 a modern 3* PLUS hotel was open here after reconstruction, soon it has become a true symbol of the city of Klaipeda. The guests are offered 31 room (single, double/twin). Each room features a flat screen TV with cable channels, free WiFi access, a telephone, a minibar, a ventilation and air conditioning system, a hair dryer. The rooms overlook a spectacular panorama of the Dane River‘s embankment, the Curonian Lagoon or the ancient casle site with an impressive marina. The restaurant „Rozmarinas“ cherishing European cuisine traditions offers the guests to enjoy delicious breakfast, a business lunch or a dinner.

This venue opened its doors in 1999 and is placed in a Mediterranean-style building. The hotel is located in the centre of Tallinn, with a quick access to the central railway station. The accommodation is set 1050 meters from KGB Museum . This venue is conveniently placed close to a concert hall and restaurants.
