Your adventure begins today with your arrival in Lyon, either by train or by plane. From there, you’ll embark on a scenic transfer to the Alpe d’Huez area, your base for this unforgettable Tour de France experience. As you travel, enjoy the changing landscapes — from rolling hills to dramatic alpine peaks — a perfect introduction to the days of cycling that await.

Upon arrival at your hotel near Alpe d’Huez, take some time to relax and settle in. After a brief orientation and bike fitting session, you may wish to stretch your legs with a short ride or a walk around the village to soak in the fresh mountain air and atmosphere.

In the evening, gather with your group for a welcome dinner at the hotel — the perfect moment to meet your guides and fellow riders, share your excitement, and toast to the start of your Tour de France adventure.

This gentle ride allows you to spin through the surrounding valleys and villages while soaking in the atmosphere of anticipation building before tomorrow’s big challenge.
