Day 1 :   Arrival in Blois

Arrival in Blois, (transfer on your own to the hotel), famous for its Royal Renaissance Chateau. Blois is a short train ride from Paris and has plenty to offer for your first night : pedestrian streets, 18th century stone bridge, St Louis Cathedral, shopping, restaurants... And since you are spending the night in Blois, don't forget to check if there is a Light and Sound show tonight.

Day 2 :   From Blois to Bracieux

Option 1 : 21 Miles - 33 Km  Option 2 : 27 Miles - 44 Km 
Elevation gain 1 : 162 Meters  Elevation gain 2 : 287 Meters 

2 options today to join Bracieux. You will choose at the start of the stage your itinerary for the day. Both itineraries follow the Loire river on one side and the other side. The atmosphere is perfect for your gourmet break or simply to refresh yourself. These itineraries meet at Saint Diè sur Loire. You now leave the Loire River, on your itinerary towards Bracieux, don't miss the visit of the Château de Chambord and its huge park.

Day 3 :   From Bracieux to Cheverny

Distance 1 : 21 Miles - 33 Km 
Elevation gain 1 : 173 Meters 

Today we leave Bracieux to reach Cheverny and its castle. You will be in the middle of nature during a good part of this stage through fields and forests. Once you arrive in Cheverny, head towards the castle and the museum of Tintin.

Day 4 :   Day at Beauval Zoo

Day 5 :   From Cheverny to Chenonceaux

Distance 1 : 26 Miles - 42 Km 
Elevation gain 1 : 259 Meters 

New day in the Loire Valley, today we leave Cheverny to head towards Chenonceaux and its majestic castle. This itinerary will take you through the small villages of Bourre and Montrichard where you can take a break. Then we will go to the castle of Chenonceaux for a visit of one of the most beautiful castles of the Loire Valley.

Day 6 :   From Chenonceaux to Amboise

Option 1 : 16 Miles - 25 Km  Option 2 : 19 Miles - 30 Km 
Elevation gain 1 : 187 Meters  Elevation gain 2 : 248 Meters 

Starting from Chenonceaux these itineraries will take you in the middle of nature for this last day by bike. Choose the shorter route if you want to make the most of Amboise and its Maison Léonard de Vinci.

Day 7 :   Departure from Amboise

Today is departure day, you can take your time getting started in the morning, have breakfast and depart at your leisure from Amboise by train for Paris or other destination. (Depart on your own). Other cycling itineraries are possible if you wish to extend this type of tour a little longer. We can offer rides to Montlouis vineyards, Montrichard and its medieval castle ruin, or by round trip train to Blois you can ride toward Chambord.

La Roseraie is ideally located only 150 meters from the Chateau de Chenonceaux. It is easy to access the other castles of the Loire Valley from the location as well. There is a gastronomic restaurant at the hotel which creates regional dishes for its guests to savor. There is also a swimming pool to enjoy an afternoon of lounging.

This is a sumptuous 17th century house converted into a charming hotel in 2003 and upgraded into a luxury hotel in 2011 retaining its character. Hotel Le Clos d'Amboise**** is located in the very heart of the Royal City of Amboise, in the authentic and picturesque historic part of the city that contains Francois 1er chateau, and further on, Leonardo da Vinci's residence, the Clos Lucé.
