Arrival at Toulouse, transfer to Viscos and reception at hotel


Our adventure of the Pyrenees starts at Toulouse airport or train station in the early afternoon. At this meeting point, we'll welcome the group before a 2-hour and 30 minutes transfer to our hotel in Viscos.

At your hotel, there will be a briefing to explain the details and organization of the trip and also a bike fitting to put you in the best conditions for cycling.

Loop Viscos to Hautacam


Your first day will begin by a mythic climb : Col du Hautacam (16 km - 9.9 mi - gradient 8,4%). The climb to the Col d'Hautacam features a variety of slopes, with some steeper sections and others more moderate. It’s a climb known of the cycling legends in the history of the Tour de France.

You’ll go down to Argelès-Gazost, and you’ll discover the Estaing Valley with the Col des Bordères.

From Viscos to Saint-Lary-Soulan via Col du Tourmalet & Aspin


This stage will feature a legend of world cycling : Col du Tourmalet. Col du Tourmalet is a vertical climb of 2.115 m (6.939 feet), 18 km (11.18 miles) long, with an average gradient of 7.2%, with a sense of achievement that overwhelms those who have conquered this mythical mountain.

The descent is just as spectacular before attacking the Col d’Aspin, where the final stretch is on very steep slopes.

And then, the arrival is at Saint-Lary-Soulan, a charming mountain village that beckons travelers with its stunning natural beauty and array of outdoor adventures. Nestled amidst lush greenery and snow-capped peaks, this idyllic destination offers something for everyone, whether you're a nature enthusiast, adrenaline junkie, or simply seeking tranquility.

Loop Saint Lary Soulan to Col du Portet & Col d'Azet


After a good breakfast, you will ride around of Saint-Lary-Soulan. The first climb is the Col du Portet, with 16 km (9,94 miles), and an average gradient of 8,5%.

You return to Saint-Lary-Soulan to climb the second col of the day : Col d’Azet (7.5 km - 4.66 miles, gradient of 8.27%).

Back at the hotel, enjoy the comforts of home and an evening with friends over a drink.

From Saint-Lary-Soulan to Sauveterre-de-Comminges via Col de Peyresourde & Port de Balès


Three climbs on the day's program : Col d’Azet from the other side, Col du Peyresourde, and Port de Balès. These are climbs known to racers and used on many occasions during the Tour de France.

The climb to the Col de Peyresourde is around 15.3 kilometers long, with an average gradient of 4.9%.

The ascent to the Col du Portet is short but very steep, with only 16 kilometers and an average gradient of around 8.7%.

After hours of effort, you can relax in the comfortable Hotel du Barry Resort & Spa, which rewards the efforts made to reach the tops.

Loop Sauveterre-de-Commingues to Col du Menté & Col du Portet d'Azet


After a restful night, you ride on the roads of Tour de France 2024. Col de Menté and Col de Portet d’Aspet are the 2 climbs of the day.

The ascent to the Col de Menté is around 9.3 kilometers long, with an average gradient of 7.7%.

The ascent of the Col de Portet d'Aspet is shorter than that of the Col de Menté, at around 4.3 kilometers long, with an average gradient of around 9%.

Throughout the day, don't forget to open your eyes and admire the immensity of the Pyrenees.
