Alsace cycling travel is a unique experience as you explore a part of the region that is nestled between the beautiful Vosges Mountains in France and the borders of Germany and Switzerland, Alsace is a region rich in tradition. Alsace is a combination of cultures and therefore charm. The famous Route du Vin (Wine Route) encompasses at least 100 wine producing villages between Strasbourg and Colmar, creating some of the best French wines. Also offers gourmet cuisine and has more Michelin star restaurants than any other region. Experience gastronomy in refined and traditional dishes like the famous baeckeofe. The beauty of its traditional architecture will surprise you with village after village of pretty half timbered houses decked with brilliantly colored flowers.

Having a great time! Hotels great. Route is perfect. Bikes excellent.
The trip was magical. The hotels were wonderful & charming. I would recommend Discover France without hesitation if you are considering a self guided bike tour. We would absolutely travel through them again. As well if you are considering places ... to bike, the Alsace Wine route was a perfect trip for us. We cannot wait for our next adventure!

We just finished a week biking in the Alsace with my wife, a trip we organized through Discover France (with the amazing Gabriel), and it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Everything, from the bike roads, to the App, to the amazing hote ... ls and magical towns, everything was just perfect. We enjoyed every minute!!!

The bikes were in good condition and we had plenty of space for our things. We really liked our hotels in Strasbourg, Obernai and Requewihr. They had great facilities and we loved their proximity to the town centers. The spa's in Obernai and Req ... uewihr were an added bonus after a day of biking.

Hotels and luggage transfers- excellent! The app and route guide - excellent! Wine tasting in Colmar! I bought 2 bottles Wonderful! Bicycle wine routes through the valleys. Beautiful!
This trip, our second with Discover France, was simply phenomenal. Discover France is exceptional to work with. From start to finish their customer service and attention to detail are amazing. Our hotels were perfect. All were comfortable, frien ... dly, clean and provided easy access to the town/village sights. The bikes and biking routes were great. We were able to expand routes and make side trips to areas that interested us. We highly recommend taking a side loop to Château du Haut-Kroenigsbourg on Day 3. It was a climb but well worth the effort!. Thank you Discover France for amazing memories!
