This cycling tour is the perfect combination of the most important assets of the region: wine and food!
Starting in Dijon, you will make your way across the vineyards of the most famous wine villages of Burgundy. Cycling along the Cote de Beaune vineyards, you can also taste some of its wine. The tour ends in Beaune where you will have the time to visit the city and the famous Hospices de Beaune.

Day 1 :  

Arrive in Dijon

Arrive in Dijon, you will meet your guide in your centrally located hotel to receive your documentation and bikes during the orientation in the evening. Explore the town during your free time.

Day 2 :  

Loop ride around Dijon

Distance 1 : 22 Miles - 35 Km 
Elevation gain 1 : 290 Meters 

Riding today will take you out into the countryside around Dijon. Visit some of the nearby vineyards and sites including the Burgundy canal. Return to Dijon and stay at the same hotel.

Day 3 :  

Bike to Vosne Romanee

Option 1 : 14 Miles - 23 Km  Option 2 : 20 Miles - 32 Km 
Elevation gain 1 : 139 Meters  Elevation gain 2 : 357 Meters 

Ride into the Cotes de Nuit wine country today, passing some of the most famous names in Burgundy wines such as Chambolle-Musigny, Gevrey Chambertin and Vougeot. Visit the Château du Clos Vougeot and stay in your charming hotel with a gourmet dinner included tonight.

Day 4 :  

Loop ride around the Vineyards

Option 1 : 21 Miles - 33 Km  Option 2 : 24 Miles - 39 Km  Option 3 : 32 Miles - 51 Km

Loop ride from Vougeot. Discover the Burgundy countryside and the vineyards of the Hautes Cotes de Nuits at your own pace. We propose different cycling options. This area is the center for the region's Grands Crus. Mainly reputed for its red wines, it also produces a few delicious whites. Wine tastings are available.

Return to the same hotel, gourmet dinner included.

Day 5 :  

Cycle to Beaune

Leaving your hotel you will pass through the lower vineyard area of Cotes de Nuits and then into Beaune, the wine capital of the region. You will have plenty of time to explore Beaune and its many sites, including the famous Hotel Dieu, and the many wine caves of the city.

Day 6 :  

Loop ride around Cote de Beaune Vineyards

Ride from Beaune towards the Cotes de Beaunes vineyard area. You will be able to visit Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chagny, Pommard, Santenay and then back to Beaune. You will find many opportunities to taste and purchase local wines. You can also taste some of the appelations you visited in one of the caves in Beaune.

Departure Day

Departure at your leisure after breakfast. Extra nights can be arranged as well as trains back to Paris with hotel.

The 17th century Hotel des Remparts situated inside the historic town of Beaune was renovated by the owners Claude and Elyane Epailly, who wanted to preserve the charm of the ancient mansion, combined with modern comfort.

Located in the center of Dijon, La Cloche was built in 1884 and is listed as a heritage building. Enjoying the location near the Old Town and the Dukes' Palace, the hotel features a restaurant, a lounge bar, a business center, and a sauna. Golf courses are easy accessible in the surrounding area as well.

The Chateau de Gilly, historical residence of the Abbaye de Citeaux, is located near to Clos Vougeot.
