 Verified Bike riding in France My friends and I recently returned from an amazing 7 day bike ride through Provence. Discover France, and Michael Cybulski our tour consultant helped with planning our trip. Michael’s experience and knowledge was very helpful when planning our bike ride.  Verified Secret Castles and Wine Tour My daughter and I loved the three days of biking between Tours and Saumur. Everyday offered multiple touring options for us to choose from - we enjoyed unique castles, surprising art shows and wine tasting to top off every day! Michael was of great assistance and I especially loved their concierge service, we were quickly able to move a wine tasting to later to allow us to explore a little more. My only change would be to add a final day in Saumur and use the bikes to go to the equestrian center of mushroom farm - there was no time to do either as we didn't get to Saumur until late afternoon and the tour ended the next day.

 Verified Ride with the best It was a great experience. Michael did a great job in planning the trip. We opted for a little higher-rated hotels and found them to be totally worth the added expense. The communications before and during the trip were efficient, smooth, and timely. We took an extra day in Bordeaux before riding, then took an extra day in St. Emilion, about 1/2 way through our ride. I would recommend some time to explore the cities you pass through.  Verified Great company for planning your bike tours! I would definitely recommend using Discover France to help you plan your bike trip. We wanted to ride 3 days and had an idea of where we wanted to go and Solene was very helpful in providing us with an itinerary as we didn't want to move hotels. The bikes we rented were great, the hotel and the food there was great and the communication was Solene was fabulous!

 Verified Self guided Castles of the Loire Valley Solene helped us plan a self guided bike tour in the Loire Valley. She was very responsive and helpful identifying the best options for us and included how to make travel arrangements. The trip went very well except for a mixup with one hotel and Solene quickly fixed the problem and we were very satisfied with how she handled it. We would definitely book with her again. The bikes were excellent and training and guide software was perfect. Loire Valley is amazing.

 Verified Slow Tourism in Provence Overall a great experience! We were a group of 3 adults. Discover France, customized our itinerary around the many towns around Avignon based upon our needs, even though we had changes at the last minute they were still able to accomodate us. The logistics support was good so we did not have to worry about our luggage from town to town. The hotels / BNBs chosen were reasonable, some better than others. They were also very responsive when we had questions. We chose the E-Bikes for our tour which was marvelous as they came in handy on the hills.The GPS/App was useful for the self guided tour. In general it worked well. There were a few times where the directions were not accurate or contradictory (voice prompt versus the map) but the App also notified you when you were off the planned route. This was mostly the exception but worth mentioning. Overall well worth it as it was great to cycle, and visit many of the towns and villages at your own pace.

 Verified Wonderful week of cycling in France!! Gabriel Tavares planned a fantastic bike week for us. We cycled from Avignon through the Camargue and back to Nimes. Hotels were great, and the scenery was even better. Gabriel was responsive to our numerous date changes, and was quick to answer all our questions.  Verified Great memories made in Brittany We finished a fantastic self guided cycling trip through their beautiful Brittany country side . Solene organised everything so efficiently and always replied promptly to my emails and we added a few extra loops onto the itinerary and nothing was too much trouble . Great centrally located hotels fantastic routes that got you out into the country side and through smaller villages . Bike where great quality and we had no problems in the whole 10 days .  Verified The perfect self-guided Alsace cycling tour. Thank you so much Solene for making our Alsace Wine Route bike trip such a memorable experience. From the very beginning you listened to what we wanted and you delivered promptly and with expertise to our every question. We initially shopped around a few providers and it was your ability to design a tour that suited our needs and budget that made Discover France easily the best tour operator to book our trip with. All of your accommodation, sites to visit, restaurant and village recommendations were perfect. The tour itself was amazing. The Alsace region is SO beautiful and perfect for cycling. Not too hilly at all, loads of good food options and even better wine choices. The areas we cycled through couldn’t have been more picturesque. There was diversity across each day riding including forests, bike tracks alongside rivers with lochs, small pretty villages and vineyards. The maps and app were very helpful and we never lost our way. The bikes were also excellent. All of this made our trip perfect. As a group of three we were able to self-guide through the Alsace region and simply turn up at the next village where our luggage had been delivered in a timely way. It couldn’t have been easier. We cycled as a group of three; Mum, Dad and our 19yo son. This trip was so good to spend time together chatting while being active. It was an unforgettable and very special trip as a family.We would highly recommend Solene and Discover France to people who enjoy travel, being active and discovering places off the typical tourist grid.  Verified Great Time in Provence Had the best time biking around Provence! Gabriel and the team at Discover France were great - 24 hour support and always there to answer questions. The routes were incredible and so were the places we stayed! This is our third trip that Gabriel has arranged and we can't wait for the fourth!!!
