 Verified Fantastic Bike Tour The routes created for us were fantastic and well planned to avoid traffic and were very scenic. The accommodations were also great with very friendly and helpful hosts. Leo was the representative we worked with and she was very helpful. She always checked to see how our tour was working out for us. The bike owner who Discover France used to set up our bikes and explain the routes was very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a great experience.

 Verified Tour de France with Epic climbs My trip with Discover France was epic. Gabriel (my contact person) was always fast in making reservations and answering any questions. The first four days comprised riding the climbs of the Ventoux, Alp d’Huez, Gorges de la Nesque/lavender fields, and the Ornon climb. And our last four days were a combination of short rides and sight seeing and watching the last four tour stages. Our two host( Matheu and Caroline) were more than willing to amend any ride to suit our needs. We ate amazing food every morning and evening throughout the trip!! Lunch was usually on the road with great energy packed fuel to meet our needs and logistics via a van (Caroline) nearby. I cannot say enough about how great our host were and how well our 6 attendees and host meshed! They are all now my new friends for life. The approximate cost was about $7000 US and is mor than a bargain.

 Verified Best Experience On and Off the Bike I just completed my third TDF guided tour with Discover France (my 8th overall). Every year just gets better -- the guides are the best, all locals with amazing knowledge and so attentive and kind. The accommodations are lovely (this year the chalet was my favorite by far -- great rooms but the community of the group grew by leaps and bounds as we stayed together). The riding is challenging, yet the routes are accommodating. The best finish on the Champs of any group. My best to Florentin, Tom and David. I hope to see you all next year!

 Verified Amazing fun seeing three Tour de France stages in Pau & Pyrenees! Three friends went on a Tour De France tour and it was fantastic. Our guide, Julian, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Van was comfortable and hotels were great.

 Verified Book Discover France for your next hiking or biking trip! Discover France took an idea I had for a trip and turned it into a perfect getaway. They were fantastic partners and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning an adventure in France! Please book them now! From the beginning, Discover France set themselves apart by being responsive and personal. After filling out an inquiry on their website about questions about a trip to Brittany, I was immediately contacted by Lélia. She asked me questions about what I was looking for and the length of my trip. She would reply back each day with more information to my many questions. On short notice and in the midst of Tour de France preparations, she created a personalized 4 day hiking itinerary for me in Brittany, France. She worked with me on adjusting the itinerary when the recent wildfires meant that one section of the trail would not be passable. She also customized the hotels based on what I was looking for, including helping book a hotel on the Mont of Mont st Michel so that I could get the full experience. On the morning of the trip, my guide met me with color printouts of my entire route as well as more information so that I would feel fully prepared. He was ready to answer any questions I had. He had also brought along several gifts to kick off my trip, including a water bottle, a tote bag and a phone charger. I was starting a solo hiking trip and I felt fully supported from the beginning, which means a lot when trekking in a foreign country. A trip like this involves a lot of logistics, and Discover France made sure that I didn't need to think about worry about any of those details. Lelia and her team booked hotels, they arranged transport to the trailhead on the mornings where that was needed, and their pack for me included restaurant recommendations and other useful information about the new cities that I was going to each night. Lelia also ensured that my bags would be moved each morning to my hotel for that night; and each morning the cab arrived promptly to pick them up! Another standout service is the app that Discover France provides. The trails that I was on were not on Google maps. I navigated during all four days using the map on the Discover France app, which was incredibly useful and precise. There were several spots with multiple routes where I was able to navigate carefully because of the app. I would highly recommend Discover France for either their arranged tours or for your next hiking or biking adventure!
