Occitanie stands out for its diverse landscapes and sunny weather – the perfect region for cycling.
The role of cycling in your life?
A big part of my life: I ride almost every week. I’m the president of the triathlon club in Lunel (Hérault) and I train to take part and perform in triathlons, cross triathlons, and multisport adventure races. Running and swimming also have an important place in my weekly routine.
Your favorite trip?
A few years ago, I had the chance to travel to Denmark with triathlete friends to take part in my first ITU Age Group Cross Triathlon World Championships. We made the most of the trip by visiting Copenhagen, as well as the islands of Odense and Svendborg, where the race was held. We discovered stunning landscapes – a great memory and the start of many more sport-focused adventures!
A travel anecdote about you?
On the way back from Copenhagen, we had to change both flights and airports in Paris – from Charles de Gaulle to Orly. Of course, we hit traffic, and the bus dropped us off at the airport quite late. We sprinted through the terminal, managed to check in our luggage and board the plane, but… our bikes didn’t make it. They stayed behind at Orly and arrived in Montpellier 48 hours later – thankfully in perfect condition! That’s when you really appreciate the comfort of renting bikes or relying on a service provider to handle transport, so you can travel stress-free and light.
Your favorite French region and why?
Occitanie stands out for its diverse landscapes – from the sea to the mountains and open plains – and its sunny weather, making it the perfect region for cycling!
A must-try French specialty?
Aligot in Lozère, up on the Aubrac plateau – a must for purists!

I’m a perfectionist – when I commit to something, I give it my all!
